The laws of Germany, excluding its conflicts of law rules, govern this Agreement and your use of the website. Your use of the website may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws.

By using Ingenious Knowledge GmbH or contacting us directly, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not engage with our website or use our services. Your Consent

We’ve updated our Privacy Policy to provide complete transparency into what is being set when you visit our site and how it’s being used. By using our website, registering an account, or engaging with our services, you consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

Links to Other Websites

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Services. The Services may contain links to other websites not operated or controlled by Ingenious Knowledge GmbH. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or opinions expressed on such websites, and we do not investigate, monitor, or check them for accuracy or completeness. When you follow a link to another website, our Privacy Policy no longer applies. Your browsing and interaction on any other website, including those linked from our platform, are subject to that website’s own rules and policies. Third parties may use their own cookies or other methods to collect information about you.

Cookies

Ingenious Knowledge GmbH uses "Cookies" to identify the areas of our website you have visited. A Cookie is a small piece of data stored on your computer or mobile device by your web browser. We use Cookies to enhance the performance and functionality of our website, though they are non-essential. Without these cookies, certain functionalities (e.g., videos) may become unavailable, or you may need to enter login details each time you visit, as we cannot remember your prior login. Most web browsers can be set to disable Cookies, but this may prevent you from accessing some website functionalities correctly or at all. We never place Personally Identifiable Information in Cookies.

Blocking and Disabling Cookies and Similar Technologies

You may set your browser to block cookies and similar technologies. However, this may block our essential cookies, preventing our website from functioning properly and limiting your ability to use all its features and services. Blocking cookies may also cause you to lose saved information (e.g., login details, site preferences). Different browsers offer different controls; disabling a cookie does not delete it from your browser—you must do this manually via your browser settings. Check your browser’s help menu for more information.

Kids' Privacy

We do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we learn we have collected Personal Data from anyone under 13 without parental consent verification, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may change our Service and policies, necessitating updates to this Privacy Policy to accurately reflect them. Unless required by law, we will notify you (e.g., through our Service) before making changes and give you an opportunity to review them before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after such changes means you are bound by the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this or any updated Privacy Policy, you can delete your account.

Third-Party Services

We may display, include, or make available third-party content (including data, information, applications, and other products or services) or provide links to third-party websites or services ("Third-Party Services").

You acknowledge and agree that Ingenious Knowledge GmbH is not responsible for any Third-Party Services, including their accuracy, completeness, timeliness, validity, copyright compliance, legality, decency, quality, or any other aspect. We assume no liability or responsibility to you or any other person or entity for these services. Third-Party Services and links are provided solely for your convenience, and you access and use them at your own risk, subject to the third parties’ terms and conditions.

Tracking Technologies

  • Google Maps API: This tool may be used to create custom maps, searchable maps, check-in functions, display live data synced with location, plan routes, or create mashups. It may collect information from you and your device for security purposes, held in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
  • Cookies: We use Cookies to enhance performance and functionality, as described above.
  • Local Storage: Sometimes known as DOM storage, this provides web apps with methods and protocols for storing client-side data, similar to cookies but with greater capacity and no information stored in the HTTP request header.
  • Sessions: We use "Sessions" to identify areas of our platform you’ve visited, stored as small data pieces on your device by your web browser.

Information about General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

If you are from the European Economic Area (EEA), we may collect and use your information. This section explains how and why this data is collected and how we protect it from misuse.

  • What is GDPR?: GDPR is an EU-wide privacy and data protection law regulating how companies protect EU residents’ data and enhancing their control over it. It applies to any globally operating company, making it relevant to us as a baseline standard worldwide.
  • What is personal data?: Any data relating to an identifiable individual, covering a broad spectrum (e.g., name, email, financial info, IP addresses, etc.). GDPR requires fair, legal, and transparent processing, specific purpose collection, limited retention, and individual rights to access, update, or delete it.
  • Why is GDPR important?: It sets new requirements for protecting personal data, increases compliance stakes with enforcement and fines, and aligns with our belief that your privacy is critical. We already exceed these standards with robust security and privacy practices.
  • Individual Data Subject's Rights: We help customers meet GDPR data subject rights. We store data in vetted, DPA-compliant vendors for up to 6 years unless your account is deleted (disposed within 60 days). EU customers can access, update, retrieve, or remove data, supported by our self-service setup and customer support team.

California Residents

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) requires disclosure of Personal Information categories we collect, use, and share (explained above) and informs California residents of their rights:

  • Right to Know and Access: Request information on categories, purposes, sources, and specific pieces of Personal Information collected.
  • Right to Equal Service: No discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
  • Right to Delete: Request account closure and deletion of collected Personal Information.
  • Right to Opt-Out: Request we not sell your personal data (we do not sell it).

Submit requests, and we’ll respond within one month. Contact us for more information.

California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

CalOPPA mirrors CCPA requirements and rights (see above). We do not sell users’ Personal Information. Contact us to exercise these rights or learn more.
